By accessing our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies referred to on this website.

Products and Product Information

We aim to provide accurate product descriptions, images, editions, formats and other information.

Book levels, year levels, difficulty descriptions and recommendations are provided as general guidance only. Individual students may find the same material easier or more difficult depending on their experience and ability.

Where sample pages are available, we recommend reviewing them before placing an order.

Colours, covers, packaging or minor product details may occasionally vary from images shown, particularly where publishers update editions or packaging.

Orders and Availability

All orders are subject to product availability.

We reserve the right to cancel or refund an order if an item becomes unavailable, if there is an error in product or pricing information, or if we are unable to fulfil the order.

If an issue affects your order, we will contact you using the contact details provided at checkout.

Special Order Items

Products identified as Special Order are sourced from our suppliers after your order is placed.

Special Order items usually dispatch within 2–4 weeks.

Once the supplier order has been placed, Special Order items cannot be cancelled or returned for change of mind or incorrect selection.

If we are unable to source an item, or there is a significant unexpected delay, we will contact you regarding available cancellation and refund options.

Prices and Payment

Prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing or listing errors. If an error affects an order that has already been placed, we will contact you before proceeding.

Shipping and Pickup

Shipping charges are based on the delivery address and postcode and are displayed at checkout before payment.

In-stock orders are usually dispatched within 1–3 business days. Different timeframes apply to Special Order items.

Orders containing both in-stock and Special Order items will normally be shipped together once all items are available.

Melbourne pickup is available from selected pickup locations. Customers must wait until they receive a Ready for Pickup notification before visiting a pickup location.

Returns, Refunds and Incorrect Selection

Returns and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

We do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind or incorrect selection, including where a customer has selected the wrong title, edition, level or difficulty.

This does not affect any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Incorrect, Damaged or Faulty Items

If you receive an incorrect item or an item that has been damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery where possible, with your order number and relevant photos.

Faulty items and other issues covered by consumer guarantees will be handled in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Website Use

You must not use this website for any unlawful purpose or attempt to interfere with the operation, security or functionality of the website.

We may update, modify or discontinue parts of the website from time to time.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content created for this website, including text, graphics, branding and original website material, belongs to Ada’s Book or is used with permission.

Publisher book covers, sample pages, product images and other third-party material remain the property of their respective rights holders.
